Title: Importing B&Ws from Aperture to FCP
Post by: peterpix on December 07, 2011, 10:18:57 am
I'm working on a  documentary with interviews and a number of vintage B&W photos.  I've worked on the photos in Aperture, and then export to FCP, but the exported images seem to lose their contrast,  brightness, etc.,  when placed in the timeline.  Any thoughts on why this happens? I could redo in PS, but since there lots of images that wold take some time. And would it solve the problem?

Export from Aperture as Photoshop RGB files in PAL/SECAM color space or NTSC color space if you work on a standard video format. Otherwise export in HDTV (Rec. 709) color space if you are working on a HD project.
