Title: Anybody solve the Bridge CS5 PhotoDownloader bug (Mac) in Bridge/ACR 6.5?
Post by: Raw shooter on November 12, 2011, 03:26:38 pm
I can't find a fix to this 'BUG' - except Time Machine back to 6.3, which is a work around.
This has been an issue for quite a while.  Wonder what Adobe is doing here.....

For those who haven't heard, you can't change the folder where you want the files downloaded to.   The program freezes if you try.  Not just Lion, but Snow Lep too.

I work on a macbook pro, 10.6.8, with acr and bridge all updated and have had no problems at all.  Straight from camera to bridge, where I want, without problems.

Do you have a maximize icon in ACR - or is missing now that you have updated to ACR 6.5?

Had the same problem. Went to the Adobe site, they acknowledge there is a problem, I downloaded the latest Beta version of Camera Raw - it fixed the problem - why I don't know, but now the PhotoDownloader is working.  Hope this helps.

Had the same problem. Adobe has ACR 6.6 for download. This fixed it for me.
