Hi Richard, interested in the P30, why are you selling and what system are you using in place of it? I have a 503CW and lenses from new and want to change to digital.

I bought the P30 before I ever used a Hassy V. I bought it solely to get into low night long exposure imaging, which it does very nicely. I have taken exposures up to 5 mins: http://www.5pmlight.com/?p=2136
The reason I am selling it is ... to get more gear :-) Specifically, I want a more portable solution so I can use it for landscape work. My favorite camera is actually the XPan, and as good as the Leica M9 is (which I have), once you crop, you are losing bits, whereas a MF sensor will hold up better.
The P30 is really at the sweet spot. The next step up is at least $8000 or more. It has plenty enough resolution.
The only caveat is that for the V, newer lens (CFx) works better than old C lens, and for bulb exposures, some of the newer lens shut off the sync signal in between open and close to save energy and this is bad for the data back. However, it's a simple fix for Hassy to do.
If you are a Hassy shooter, you will be amazed how well your Zeiss lens look in the digital age.

Thanks Richard, I am prepared to make you an offer, but as I am in Ireland what guarantee do I have, I know you are a fellow photographer and reputable but I can't test the image quality as you are in US? Can you ship UPS with insurance cover for the full amount? Can you send me a full res file or upload it to a server so I can down load it myself and see. Something of a neutral grey background or underexposed white so I can see if any marks on sensor?

Yes, I can ship UPS with insurance on full amount. You will need to give me you tax ID for possible custom, Actually, Iprefer to use FedEX but UPS is fine. You will need to pay for the full amount for shipping of course.
I will send you a full res of the Night Over Cambria file with a water mark. Do you want the original color or the post B&W version? It's also ~3 minutes at ISO 400 so you can really see how well it works under the worst conditions.

SOme drops are possible. For example, $4500 for the P30 back and $950 for the camera and $1250 for the lens. That's about as low as I can go, before going to eBay.
