I've followed these discussions intently. Many of the provisions are required for the sharing sites to be able to operate - since showing them on the web is essentially publishing -, but Twitpic seems to be selling users' photos to a news agency, and pocketing the money.
Incidentally my Flickr account just came up for renewal. I'll pull all my photos and let them know why.

What do you object to about Flickr's terms of service?

Nothing in particular as I don't have the patience to comb through their TOS. It's more to do with the overall legal atmosphere American photo sharing sites and competitions - or more accurately, lawyers - have created with their TOSs and practices. I'd rather keep my photos on my domain where I don't have to waste time reading and deciphering TOSs, and keeping updated on changes.
