Title: Swiss Alps, Matterhorn
Post by: nnmmaa on January 05, 2005, 11:13:17 am
How do you get to Lake Grinji from downtown Zermatt?
Which trail, cable car, etc.?

BTW, another great view is near the Rodenboden train stop!

There used to be so called Kodak-Points in US and Japanese national Parks where ambitious landscapers could set up and shoot with garanteed success. In Switzerland we have never had that but at certain points you see pros and amateurs all year through, even Howard Bond and Adams followers are seen there. One point like that would be at Lake Grinji, uphill Zermatt to shoot the Matterhorn, just no one really knows! If you're there at sunrise, your pic might sell to make up for the overseas travel.
