Title: Imacon fff vs DNG Workflow
Post by: Ken on May 24, 2005, 10:36:57 pm
I've been working with an Imacon V96C digital back long enough to develop a question that perhaps someone here could answer for me.

The back saves images as Imacon's proprietary "3f" files which can be processed directly in their FlexColor software, or use it to save the files in DNG, TIF or JPG format. I recall that Michael was a fan of Imacon's powerful scanner software, which this is... with some added accomodations for camera input.

My question is... what's the the most efficient workflow for working with Imacon images? For example, stay in FlexColor and save to TIFs?... Don't touch the files until they're DNGs and process them in Photoshop RAW?... or ?
