Title: Lower Pricing for X-Rite i1 Publish Upgrade A
Post by: PhilipCummins on May 12, 2011, 08:09:52 am: I've had a few requests for the cheaper pricing for the i1 Publish Upgrade A from the normal RRP $499, some places are listed below in no particular order. Most will take 2-3 weeks to process orders as they order from X-Rite on request. The Upgrade B is also probably available at below $700 at these sites as well. Other places can be found via searching for the part number, EOPROF-UPGA or EOPROF-UPGB.

Post by: rasworth on May 12, 2011, 11:00:57 am: I find these prices hard to swallow, given the list price and the "discount" I received from Chromix for bundling it with an i1Pro. There are certainly some reputable merchants in the list.

Has anybody actually received the A upgrade at this price?

Not yet - I'm expecting mine to ship out about 25/05 once it's in from X-Rite. I'll update this topic once it's in hand (will take a bit, since it has to be sent to Australia first). If anyone else gets it sooner best to just add a reply in, thanks.

One person has ordered before I called.
They ordered about one week ago and the product will ship on May 15th for them.

So, I ordered from MacMall....figured it was a big outfit so hopefully it will all be fine.

Yes, not sure if ~$200 is the pre-order pricing and ~$375 is the standard pricing now that supply starting to become available, so best people get in quick at the lower pricing and confirm it's staying at about ~$200. At worst, you still can save about ~$125 over RRP.
