I like your evenly lit, rather common, rocks in their undramatic, but completely solid, composition under this spectacular sky.  The sky and ground put an interesting spin on each other.

The sky is rather nice, but I wish there were something interesting under it. Sorry Timo, but I don't think this one is in the same league as a lot of the other work you've posted here.

A different league, I agree.   I too do not find the rocks interesting; however, I assume that neither did Timo Lofgren.  Their bland stasis is conspicuous.  The photo suggests to me that the context for beauty is not always more beauty.

That's one of the most interesting and potentially profound things anyone has said on here for a long time. And well worth thinking about, even if you disagree.
