Title: Ringneck dove peeks from behind feathered fan...

a lucky catch....

MF Nikkor 85mm F1.8-H on Canon 40D (ISO 1000 @ 2000/2.8, very cropped...not quite 100% crop...maybe 80%)

I like the crop, and with a bit of NR it should be quite usable.  I'd even clone out the bit of feeder on the left...

I won't do NR because I've yet to see any monitor where noise is more noticable than on mine, and this is okay on mine...as for the feeder, the foot coming out of the tuck position suggests getting ready for a landing so the feeder is needed for context...

...My original crop had nothing of the feeder so I have questioned how much feeder I need...but I've decided not less than what is in this crop, and maybe even a bit more, the more I look at it...

...I wouldn't clone out anything as it would not be reality, and I shoot reality...
