Hi!
I've had luck with a piece of Software called PhotoRescue - My friend (really - not me, I swear - actually my father-in-law) had formatted a CF card thinking that "format" meant 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc.. The program found tons of files on the card including one's that were from old shoots. Anyway - they're are a bunch of pieces of software out now that will do the same thing. Most of them offer a demo and will show you what they can recover before you have to pay the license fee to actually get the files. Do a Google search to see what you come up with.
Good Luck!

Any suggestions for recovering lost CF images?
I'm looking for something to find Canon 1Ds Mk II RAW images for use with Photoshop CS2 on the Mac "Tiger" OS.

Joe, thanks for this. I downloaded the trial version last night and it worked like a charm!
