Title: Botany Bay
Post by: wolfnowl on April 07, 2011, 01:28:53 pm
Hi There:

A couple of weeks back Marcia and I took a day trip out to Port Renfrew on the SW coast of Vancouver Island.  Didn't see any migrating whales, but we did have some great fun wandering around Juan de Fuca Provincial Park (http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/juan_de_fuca/).  Not a serious photo shoot, but I did make a few good images and look forward to returning.  BTW, they don't call it the 'wet coast' for nothing...

Mike.

I like "Breakers" in particular, Mike. The white vignette works really well.

The others aren't exactly bad, either!

Thanks!  I just wanted to illustrate the sorts of scenes one might find there...

Breakers is the one that grabs my attention. It's a fantastic shot… I quite like the other ones... but they are not as outstanding.
