Title: Capture One 6 Pro and TrueGrain TIF file
Post by: Roberto Frieri on March 24, 2011, 09:08:14 am
Hi,
does Capture One 6 Pro support TrueGrain TIF files?

I have saved some 8 and 16 bit TIF files out of TrueGrain, thinking I could then edit these in Capture One [Pro 6.x].
They are visible in Capture One. The Preferences are set 'Enable TIFF editing'.
So how do I edit tif files in Capture One?
[MacBook Pro environment. Files saved as name .tif].

Thank you very much.

No, to the best of my knowlwgde the file produced by True Grain is a gray scale (non RGB) TIFF file and as such is not fully supported by Capture One.
RGB TIFF files can be edited in CO, provided that the specific option is enabled in the preference panel.
