Title: loner
Post by: ran on March 22, 2011, 04:45:47 am
I was traveling to Cincinnati the other day and about daylite was passing by Lake Cowan so thought I would see what the lake looked like.I shot this out of my car window using my ball and cup attachment on my window, very low light for no tripod. Comments welcome. (http://www.branhamphoto.com/photos/1220597658_xBbCy-M.jpg) thanks Ran

It is certainly unusual and very likeable. Technically it is unbalanced because of the black on the right but not a problem for me. Some might point out the boat is in the middle instead of more to the top or bottom but I don't don't mind. A very pleasing image, imo. :)

Nice! Have you considered cropping out the black mass on the right?

Yes as a matter of fact I've done just that and have a few other photos of the same scene ,but I guess I just thought I like the negative black to help push the Loner  aspect.
Thanks ran
