Title: X-Ritre repairs

I just talked with X-Rite and they tell me that they won't service my 938 Spectrodensitometer.  Anybody know where I can get service. X-Rite was not very helpful apart from offering to sell me a new unit.

Consider yourself lucky that they were magnanimous enough to talk with you.  They haven't responded to several emails I've sent regarding a Pulse Elite system I purchased several years ago that refuses to allow calibration.  This is probably the worst customer service I've experienced in the past 10 years.  I'll be going out of my way to avoid them in the future.  This kind of arrogance will come back to bite them in the long run.

I had sent them an email asking about the error messages I was getting and repairs but never heard back from them. I finally called but you are right, the customer service response was less than helpful. The only suggestion was to buy a new X-rite 939...not at $9000 thank you.
