Hi, I am posting for the first time and I have a question regarding packaging usage pricing. Is this the right place to be? If not, please redirect me. I am bidding a pet product packaging job for 16 pet products. I have bid an all inclusive day rate and usage of $3500 per day. I am in New York. Usage is for 2 years unlimited and includes all of the photos from the shoot. I need to determine if my price is high, low, or in the ball park. The client doesn't want a limit put on the years. They are asking for a complete "buy out" minus the formality of the copyright but don't want to pay more than the price I quoted. Any comments would be completely appreciated. I am almost brand new at bidding packaging jobs. Client will mass distribute in the big US chains.
