Title: Metadata sync in C1 6.1
Post by: Nick Rains on February 09, 2011, 12:35:24 pm
Is is possible to sync the metadata between images? ie add metadata to one and then simply 'copy/paste' to multiple others in one operation that does not involve presets or styles. it looks like this is possible but it doesn't seem to work - happy to accept I'm missing something but I'm stumped.

Also, if you multi-select and add metadata then it appears to only end up in one image. BTW, I'm using DNGs which might be the problem since C1 and DNG still don't get on well.

Yes, C1 and DNG are not friends at all.
With DNG you could try Bridge for the task you need.

Use the local Copy-and-Apply button within the metadata tab and click or unclick the metadata you wish to copy-and-apply between the primary selected image and the rest of the selected images.
