It would be better without the bottom third, I think.

I see that yes...I hope to address that with some of the files in the exact location over a period of about 4 hours on Sunday...I do not have Helicon Focus but did work carefully to capture a series of files for DOF, and another for dynamic range...while I do not have the luxury of the time to work with them now, at least I have them on the drives...I think it is possible I will learn quite a bit compositing them....the conditions were severe...brilliant sun, the shade in this ice cave and 6-16 degrees as I was working my body around on the ground watching and capturing this four hour moment.

I appreciate input on anything I pop up...just couldn't resist starting on one of them last night...and lacking live beings in my life here, I usually place it here when what I would really like to do is turn to someone and say "hey, take a look at this...think there is something fun going on here, what do you think? "  I'll have to come up for an abbreviated code for that. Thanks Jeremy..

I agree with Jeremy. I would crop it so as to include just a little of the soft-focus lower part as a base for the upper part.
Well worth working on.

That's exactly what I had in mind. I like the ice at the top.
