I go for the B&W one. It has your usual magic.

Ok, the B/W is much better, grey tones are so good... , both is well composed and very beautiful photos.
I'm wondering if you would touch the original colour image with your magic, would it be so attractive ?
I have seen Timo's work before (we live most likely in same country), and it's always amazing...

In my own work, I only include color if it adds something to the photograph, or if the subject is the color itself. Stick with the B&W for this one.

The BW emphasizes the water and the clouds and has a baleful mood for me. The color image on the other hand is light and open and I get a sense of the beauty surrounding me there. The effect in the BW is of course stronger, but it depends what one expects. Both are good.

I do not think Timo was asking for opinions... he knows that the B&W version is much better than the colour one.
I think he was showing us the internals of his work, instead: thanks, very illustrative.

I agree. I feel it was in response to a request on another thread that he show us how he works. The color one is a pretty scene, but his conversion to B&W is what adds his personal magic.

He's showing some of the process, and it does help.
