I didn't know Nosferatu was a photographer too !"
Well - that was my spontaneous first thought on this image with a recognizable style I'd associate with you.
I like it, and I'd really like to know (apart from the obvious) how you achieve this special style and tonalities in your B/W images.

Marvelous stuff, Timo. I can hear Sibeluis himself conducting Finlandia in the background. Looks as if winter's really set in.

At first I didn't like this image, but it grows on one. Very unique approach.
It's very dark and broody. It is possible that in your effort to create the silhouettes in the image that some of your shadow detail was sacrificed.
There's an interesting use of diagonals - one set upside down in the tripod. The figure of the man balances the weight of the water on the left side.
Overall, I'd think about raising luminance just a little bit, and see if that works as well.
