In my humble opinion: too much water at the bottom, and too little ship at the top; nice colours, on the other hand.

a good concept that falls short in execution.

I like the color, contrast, and subject very much.

However, composition-wise the image has problems. The foreground is too dominant, and should be cropped back.

The angle you've taken on the boats is a bit too much of a "broadside". If you could have moved a bit to the right, and zoomed in, you would have more focus on the boats, and less clutter in the background. As is, I find the image a bit confusing in the details.

A really good effort! You're thinking the right way, now move around your subject a bit!

Ivan, Don't you dare crop out that water and crowd those boats. Try it and compare the two images. In my not at all humble opinion I think you'll agree you were right in the first place.
