Nice shot of the mascot, shame about the car.

A Flexbody would allow you to use tilt and get the car and mascot in focus. (I will be getting a CF50 which I will be able to use with my Flexbody)

Why would you want the car to be crisp? It would distract from the subject, the hood ornament.

Very nice, tactile, feeling to the image.

Judging by the title, the car was supposed to be the subject!

Thank you Rob, that was the idea but I understand wanting to see more of this beautiful machine.
Dick, sorry about the false advertising, more of the car is below  ;D

My initial reaction was the ornament was the focal point of the image and it would have been better to have moved to the left. If it was the car more should have been shown?

Ah, but you need the extreme darkness of the folded hood to posterize the mascot.

I found that I looked past the mascot to the folded hood, then wondered why half the image was OOF background that held no interest.  A different position might have highlighted the mascot better.

I like these, but then I'm a sucker for detail shots of vintage cars.  :D
