Title: Phase One H-series sync cable compatibility
Post by: Snapshot on October 12, 2010, 02:25:37 am
Hi all,

Are Phase One (lens to back) sync cables for the H-series backs (these cables have a flash connector on one side and a mini-jack plug on the other) compatible with Hasselblad/Imacon backs? I need a sync cable for my "new" Imacon 132c back.

Thanks for your help!

Kind regards,
Selmar

What are you putting your 132c on to?

I used a Y cable with much success on my old 132c.  I had it made at http://www.paramountcords.com  Basically it works like this:  The long end goes to a mini plug for a flash wizard to trigger the strobe, one end of the y is a pc socket to go to the hassy lens and the other end of the Y is a micro plug to go to the 132c back.  It worked great.  I used it on a Cambo wide ds and a Hassy before I got my Contax.

Good luck,
Weldon

Thanks for the reactions so far. In the meantime I've found out that any sync cable with a sub mini (2.5mm) jack can be used.

Kind regards,
