Epson USA has also just posted the new firmware with a few extra details:
This update improves Auto Ink Detection (AID) functionality and corrects possible issues with the printer locking up when cancelling a print job.
Epson Australia has a new driver: 6.70. As usual, no release notes whatsoever...
The new driver adds a 'Layout Manager' feature (or at least it's the first time I noticed it). It seems to allow the driver to manage the layout of multiple jobs.

The new driver is Windows only and adds Layout Manager as you mentioned, plus adds a new paper size "SuperW A3 329 x 559 mm" and corrects a possible Win7 / nVidia graphics bug during print preview.

Improvements:
•This update adds WSD functionality to the network setup on the printer's control panel.
I think WSD stands for 'Web Services for Devices'. Does anyone know how to make use of it?
