Title: Using the LCC file feature
Post by: coxyuk on September 14, 2010, 03:39:09 pm
I see LCC files are supported on some DSLRs in C1 5.2.  How do you generate an LCC file?  ???

It hasn't been updated since version 3 in a while but the general workflow is the same:

Then checkout page 106 of the Capture One user manual.

You can buy LCC panels from us $18+shipping:

Thanks, it was primarily the dust removal option I was interested in exploring.  It sounds like my workflow would better suit correcting dust in one image and applying to the rest rather than use this feature.

LCC is quite handy and is intended to fix the Italian flag effect.  I suspect Leica M9 users will be very happy with this new feature.  Even on the Canon 1Ds Mark III there are times I where suspect there might be some type of magenta bias happening across the sensor.  Now I can go snap image through the diffuser with the same lens & aperture and find out for sure.  I wish Phase One had opened up this feature a long time ago.
