Title: Resizing for email send,
Post by: thewanderer on August 17, 2010, 10:33:02 pm
I filmed a bison/rut/chase/fight sequence today with the t2i and a 600.. it came out pretty good, lots of fighting, snorting, and tyypical bison rut behaviour here in Yellowstone..  anyway, I want to send the sequence to friends but its over 55 mb and I dont have that much email capacity.

The question is,,,, how or in what format do you downsize to send in email, its currently in a .mov format.  I jst dont understand enough about it to knwo what is small, or appropriate for email sending, etc.

Any help would be appreciated, I am so new to it, none of it is sinking in at this point and quite foreign

thanks

Why don't you use a service like yousendit.com? It allows to send files up to 100MB for free. Dropbox would also be an alternative.
