Very Cool! I've been using DSLR Remote on my iPhone with great results - advantages - control over exposure settings.
I also run Air Display; when people see me proudly show off my "dual display" 13" Macbook / iPhone setup - they smile politely and undoubtedly wonder what I'm doing with my life.......

This method relies on having a computer or laptop to work so it isn't very practical because you can see the images on the computer/laptop without the need for a laptop.
I found a method of shooting tethered to an iPad but it had limitations too. You can see the details here:

I can see a solution like this working in the near future but at the moment I couldn't show my employers a method that involves jailbreaking heir new iPads.
