Nice shot, a shame about the bike.  I'm really liking the sculpture itself.

Nice sunset! I've recently returned from St Petersburg which also has sunsets at midnight.

Unfortunately, the weather was so variable I didn't get much chance to photograph a really nice midnight sunset. On the last night, we attended a ballet in the Hermitage Ballet Theatre. I didn't bring my camera. Big mistake! The theatre was terrific; at around 10.30pm we had a late dinner in a marvelously decorated restaurant which deserved a few photos, and when we got out of the restaurant about 11pm, there was a marvelous red glow behind a church-type structure on the opposite side of the Volga river.

This always seems to happen. Whenever you don't take your camera, something interesting crops up.

As regards sunsets, below is the best I got. We went on a boat trip along the canals. After we climbed back into the bus about 10.30pm, I saw the following scene as the bus turned around to get back to the cruise ship. It's a quick snapshot through the bus window.
