I warmly recommend a visit to Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). It´s mainly advertised as "surfing paradise" (concentrated on the eastside) but almost no travel brochure mentions the beautiful westside with fantastic vulcanic hills and lovely small villages.
Please have a look at the enclosed link. Pictures taken last year in January. First half with Canon G10, the other half with Canon 40D and 70-200/4L IS. All images shot in RAW and converted with DPP, plus some editing in PS

That is a wonderful set of images, very well seen. In the ones with a person or animal or two, the figure is just perfectly placed. Very nice work!

I can only agree with your comments, the images are very nice. I like this collection a lot.
