Title: Photo of a Turlough in the Burren, Ireland
Post by: Enda Cavanagh on June 19, 2010, 05:32:55 pm
I have added a new photo to my site of a Turlough in the Burren, County Clare. A Turlough, or Turlach, is a unique type of disappearing lake found mostly in limestone areas of Ireland, west of the River Shannon. I loved the forms of the gnarly bushes, which were covered in mud and exposed after the water level had subsided.
