Unfortunately, this trek is sold out.  I'd like to go on this one myself.  I've been on some of the Mentorseries treks and enjoyed them very much.  Darrell Gulin and Chris Rainier are two top notch mentors.

Hi,

Does anybody run photo workshops to Egypt, particularly in the out of the way places like the White Desert??

there is a small company based in Switzerland, which organises travel with a photographic focus including trips to the White Desert in Egypt. Unfortunately, their site seems to be in Germany only. Maybe it is worth to check out anyway?

They have an excellent portfolio with images from the White Desert too.

There are some spectacular landscapes that you don't often see that could be interesting. Kind of puts Mono into perspective.

I realise this is a long shot ... but if you don't ask ...

Google ... well obviously ...

I was looking for some experiences from photographers here. The only thing I found when I last searched was a group from Switzerland - unfortunately I'm looking for an english speaking option.

Thanks - that looked ideal. Forty people must make for a very large trek though ... is that the normal size of party for these folks?

The MentorSeries treks usually have about 20 to 40 participants.  In many ways, these treks are photography based vacations and perhaps not as hard-core as some would like; however, I've enjoyed them very much.

As you can see from the website, treks are offered on a very regular basis and at locations all over the world.  If you don't see anything that you like, just keep checking the website.  Also, be sure to check the past treks because sometimes treks are repeated.  You can get a good idea of the program and sights (and skill level of the participants) by viewing photos from past treks.
