Now that's a good example of a shot that works very well in B/W. I can't see colour improving it; being different, yes, but better?

This picture reminds a place I went many years ago in Vancouver island on the west coast after a tsunami occured. (this area is very sismic)
Trees where laying like that. I wonder if it is the same location. Can't remember the name of the beach, but there was a characteristic rock about 50m from the coast. I've swimmed there (not like Chris Anderson in the icebergs), the water was damn cold but you could do it.
I guess it was like swimming in a scotish beach in the summer.
