Title: Panasonic AG-3DA1
Post by: wolfnowl on May 19, 2010, 02:49:37 am
Apparently this was announced in Las Vegas a month ago, but it showed up on today's episode of Daily Planet (http://www.discoverychannel.ca/Showpage.aspx?sid=13287) here in Canada.  At $21K it's not for your average consumer, but at 6lb, shooting 1080i 3D onto SDHC cards, its poised to carve a niche in the professional video field.

Panasonic AG-3DA1 (http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prModelDetail?storeId=11301&catalogId=13251&itemId=406584&modelNo=Content04082010124542356&surfModel=Content04082010124542356)

I'm not a videographer, but my son works in the biz.  He'll probably be drooling appreciably.

Mike.

First of many, I 'd guess.  With quarter-inch chips (only one for each "eye") the depth of modulation (exposure latitude) is gonna be unspectacular.
