North Cascades look like they'll be coming into their own over the next few weeks. The Alpine Larches and Lyall's Larches are just starting to show a hint of lime green. I'm guessing October 4th and later for the annual bright gold needles.
Weather is phenomenal this year, and expected to hold. The Autumn light is stunning.
Anyone planning on visiting the area of North Cascades or Olympic National Park soon, send me a mail or a post on here, and I'll give you some itinerary tips.
