Wow, sounds terrific. Too bad it would be a too long a flight from States. I always loved your work, so I'm sure it will be terrific. Are those images on Flicker that are to be blown up? Being sponsored by Nikon, does it mean they are all D3X, stiched etc. Do tell, how you achived so they can be blown up so big, as your minions eagerly await.

Hi Sean,
Thanks. :-)
Interestingly it is perfectly possbile here in Tokyo to exhibit in the Nikon Salon images entirely shot with Canon, they don't care and don't ask. They also do not allow technical details to be included in captions, including camera brand and type. Nikon is just lending me their exhibition space for 13 days free of charge. They do check work quality before allowing the exhibition, but I have no way of knowing how selective they are in the process.
This being said, most of the images are indeed stitches created from D3 and D3x files, most of them in the 100+ megapixel, the majority above 200 megapixels.
Too bad you won't be able to make it.
Cheers,
Bernard

Congrats, Bernard! Unfortunately they haven't built the Victoria-Tokyo high-speed subway yet, so I'll be there in spirit only. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good show!

Congratulations on another exhibition Bernard.
Your work is truly inspirational, to say the least.
I would have loved to see your images as large prints.
Unfortunately my time is up in Japan and I will be returning to Australia this week.
One of the things I will miss the most about Japan is the stunning mountain landscapes, your images capture the beauty like no one else.
Regards

My dear LL friends,
The show will be closing its doors this afternoon.
I just wanted to thank all of you who expressed interest and support, starting of course with those who could physically make it.
The show was a success with many visitors and very positive feedback overall. It seems that I have not been hauling tons of equipments for no reason.
Thank you again!
Cheers,
Bernard
