Title: yellowstone in September

I'd like to spend two nights  at Old Faithful /lodge and two nights elsewhere in the park?  Suggestions appreciated!

Not in the park, just north of the Mammoth Entrance by about 15 miles is Chico hotsprings (chicohotsprings.com) stayed there this winter very nice place, good food a bit fancy for Montana. Great for warming up after spending the day in the cold. Although the distance doesn't make it easy for sunrise photography.
