Title: software for random slide show
Post by: tsjanik on February 11, 2010, 09:17:30 pm
Hello:

I would like to have a collection of images displayed in random order as a slide show .  Ideally these images could be in separate folders on one hard drive.  In particular, I would like to hang a LCD screen on a wall and have a computuer send a random selection of images.   Sort of a dynamic framed print.  I know I can do this in Windows, if the files are jpegs and in the "My Pictures" folder, but would like to find a less restrictive program,i.e, one that would use all the images on a drive and is not limited to jpegs.
Thanks,

Tom

Thanks for mentioning this as it has saved me a good amount of time looking for a decent image display program for Windows (Microsoft's Photo Viewer and Live Photogallery programs are really terrible.)
