Title: Time Lapse
Post by: mike.online on February 02, 2010, 08:16:40 am
Hi all,

I've just come back from a conference where I brought my 5DMkII and I shot a bunch of video alongside the photography. I caught a great session where community members drew up a neat sketch map (important to my other work), and while the process took about 45 mins, I would like to shrink this footage down to a quick time lapse sequence.

What is the best way to do this? I'm wondering if there is any good free software, and if there isn't which of the commercial packages can do this on a PC ?

Windows Movie Maker should work...

Hmm, unfortunately the way to make a time lapse video in movie maker is to do it like a a stop motion video, which is a series of stills. I'm looking however for a way to shorter down about an hours worth of video footage
