I like it - very unusual.
Was it shot through a window? (looks like it)

Nope...outside and collllldddddd! I've been shooting subsurface ice formations this month and and the wolf moon shot was as I was packing up gear to go inside for the night...I took one of my ice images from this weekend and image blended...the toughest thing this month has been having to wait so long to unpack camera and card to avoid the condensation...I love shooting in the cold but puts an extra hump in caring for equipment.

This one's got a good bit of motion. It's as if the ice formations are reaching up to the moon for sustenance, like plants to the sun. The darker forms bottom left add balancing contrast and continue the theme of movement. Quite an engaging shot.

For me, it's both a mysterious and beautiful image. Well done.

These are the two files used for "Cold moon"...Hope this lets you see where the comp came from...I already had downloaded that group of ice shots when I saw the moon...tried to get a shot that would let me play with the imagined perspective in the ice...
