I've been extremely happy with my Viewsonic P225fb CRT monitor on my PC for many years, but it's no longer able to show the full range of shades when calibrating.
I'm curious what members know of monitors that now exist for accurate representation of photography. Since I have a Colorvision spyder that does not do LCDs, a CRT would be best (but they're getting hard to find!). And since I've not budgeted for this replacement, I need something that won't send me rocketing to the poorhouse right now.
