Title: Jewels of the Credit river
Post by: John R on January 28, 2010, 10:14:24 pm
Just a couple of shots taken at Bellfountain by the Credit river on a cold winter's day. Most are ice configurations under the river's ice shelf.  Exposures were very difficult and many times the water want black and the snow washed out. And it was VERY cold! The water, snow and ice gives off a real coolness. They are somewhat abstract, but that is what I like.

Nice work, John.  I used to commute from Belwood through Belfountain to Maple every day.  Brings back memories.

Excellent! I particularly like the first, with its contrast between stillness and movement.

The first one is my favourite. The blurred water current is key in this image - very nice. The last one is also beautiful. A good serie again, John. Bravo!

I like the first one. It is both intriguing and troubling
