Title: c1 4.83 RGB picker values do not match exposure warning or processed file
Post by: tmx3 on January 22, 2010, 08:10:51 am
I had an issue yesterday where the rgb readings i was getting mismatched the exposure warning tool (set to 250). All the values i could see were under 250 in all channels (and i spent quiet a bit of time on this as it seemed very bizarre) but the exposure tool was reading as over the exposure. When i processed the file (as a tiff) it was burnt out 3x255 in patches. At the time it didnt occur to me that the values in the raw might mismatch the final image due to sharpening, however the patches burning out were much larger than what i would expect through a sharpen.proof profile was set to selected recipie, which was  set to adobe rgb 1998. Shooting on a p45 to mac pro running leopard. any ideas?

You should check your preferences.  This usually happens when your output profile is different than your working profile.
