Hi There: I should mention up front that LED lighting systems are not cheap, at least not up front. However, LEDs use about 1/10th the power of incadescent bulbs, are dimmable, have no mercury (as with CFLs) and typically last 30,000 - 50,000 hours. Cree Lighting (http://www.creelighting.com/index.aspx) is one company that makes LED potlights, and Renaissance Lighting (http://www.renaissancelighting.com/) is another. With Renaissance RGB downlights and their Rhapsody software you can literally dial in a specific colour temperature.
Thought it might be of interest to some.
Mike.
