It's an interesting shot, with pleasing textures in the rock. It's also rather disconcerting, since it's impossible to get any idea of the scale of the thing.

I find it fascinating. The lack of scale is a plus for me. I like the ambiguity because it gives my imagination a chance to see the image in several different ways.

I wonder about the "birds," if that's what they are. In a large print they might tend to suggest a very large scale to the rock, but on screen they can be taken for dust specks that might want to be spotted. I'm not sure.

The glow just above the dark bottom layer is stunning. Nice shot!

Stunning… almost fell from my seat. I agree with previous comments, scale is difficult to evaluate, even with birds in the sky but I think that's an important/strong point of this photo.
