Hi Folks: The Center (formerly the Santa Fe Center for Photography) currently has the 2010 Center Awards competition under way. I don't enter photo contests as a matter of course, but I was very impressed with how they designed their splash page. Thought you might like to see it as well (and/ or enter the contest): http://www.visitcenter.org/2010_center_awards/center/ (http://www.visitcenter.org/2010_center_awards/center/)
Take care,
Mike.

Thanks Mike - certainly a fine example of intelligent web design and quality control!
Later: the above was written after waiting two minutes for the first page to load then closing it down - I assumed Mike was also being sarcastic. Now, after having the patience to wait four minutes for the splash page to load I'm even more inclined to dismiss the whole shebang regardless of the content.
Sorry Mike, the splash page was novel but not worth the wait.

That page changed the size of my browser as soon as I opened the link; sorry, but that is unacceptable to me: I closed the tab immediately.

Ditto. I don't know why people do that.

That page changed the size of my patience. Please, no clever intros without a "skip" button, thx.
Some worthy work there but mostly 15 years ago bleeding edge, now become recognizable genres. But gotta admit, I sure don't do anything that interesting! Unusually large number of women in that group, somebody must have misplaced the "no girlz" sign.
