Title: How to protect your DVDs
Post by: ADA71 on December 30, 2009, 01:29:55 pm
There is a misconception that CSS can be added to a DVD-R or DVD+R. The fact is: CSS can only be added to replicated disc from glass master. The reason being the disc key is stored on tracks where DVD-R or DVD+R is not recordable, i.e. DVD writers cannot write information on those tracks.
You can send your video to a replicator who could ad the protection.

But as others pointed out this can be removed in a snap by anyone.
