Title: Leaf Shadows
Post by: wolfnowl on December 18, 2009, 06:06:59 pm
Hi Folks:

This is an idea that's intrigued me for some time, but I've yet to get around to it.  Basically the rain water leaches the tannins out of the leaves, especially maple and oak leaves.  I came across these yesterday on my way to the bookstore; I didn't have a real camera or a tripod with me so the IQ isn't great, but someday I'll take a more serious look at it.

Mike.

I think it is a great idea and subject matter. I have seen photos like this on One Exposure.

Sounds like an interesting idea, Mike.  It will be interesting to see where you take the project.
