Title: trying to calibrate dell 2709 with hp aps eye-1
Post by: abaazov on November 18, 2009, 09:41:36 pm
hi, i am trying to calibrate my dell 2709 monitor (connected through displayport) with the hp aps software. for some reason all it asks me to do is adjust the contrast. it is not asking me to adjust the brightness or rgb, even though i chose them as options and they are adjustable on this monitor. any ideas on how to proceed? obviously the calibration it is giving me is nowhere near what it should be.
TIA
amnon

ok so i did some more research, it seems i can calibrate the screen attached with dvi cable, and then switch back to displayport. has anyone ever odne this? is there any reason why the result wouldnt be the same?
