Title: 1 million fps bullet time lapse
Post by: knweiss on October 11, 2009, 07:28:52 am
Hi, if you enjoy slow motion videos you should watch this:

1 million fps Slow Motion video of bullet impacts made by Werner Mehl from Kurzzeit (YouTube) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfDoQwIAaXg)

Make sure to watch the entire video because it shows many different materials and bullet types. Although I despise weapons I really like the aesthetics of this video.

The shotgun blasts at the end were a nice touch.

fascinating stuff. I have down loaded some ammo for my 44 magnum. I want to photograph the bullet coming out of the muzzle. I will try in about 2 weeks time over a weekend.

I wonder what he uses for illumination. A nuclear strobe?

About 8 grains of Unique behind a 240 lead SWC should be about right
