Title: Manual instructions for a Briese 3200 Location generator
Post by: vertigoestudio on September 02, 2009, 10:33:58 am
Hy everybody;

I bought this second hand generator, is quite old about 20 years.
It works perfectly connected to the electric network, but doesn´t charge the battery,
I think doing something wrong. Someone has used it, know how it works or have the manual?

This is the model.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

I suppose you might have found out meanwhile, if still needed try to get a manual at Briese www.briese-lichttechnik.de they should be able to provide a pdf or something similar. It´s a simple workhorse pack which is not very complicated to use. Outlet 1 and 2 are symmetric, outlet 3 provides a fixed asymmetry (less power, shorter flash duration, faster recycling). Each dot for the power setting is a 1/4 stop, the red dots mark a full f-stop. You have On/Off, prop modeling light, cell and open flash, that´s it.
As far as I know there is no battery to charge, this is a mains only unit though it´s called location.

Cheers, Ulf
