Title: Just playing around with Slideshow Pro for Lightroom
Post by: ErikKaffehr on June 30, 2009, 01:08:08 pm
Hi,

I made several trips to Grand Teton National Park the previous yera, much influenced by Michael Reichmann's LLVJ videos about the place. I spent two early mornings at Oxbow Bend, and even had the chance to shoot a grizzly with my 400 lens. I played a bit with Lightroom/Slideshow Pro on some of these pictures: I have it on my very experimenatl website here:

http://83.177.178.241/photos/index.html (http://83.177.178.241/photos/index.html)

Just klick on the image to go to full screen...

Best regards
Erik

I checked out your pbase site, the grand teton gallery. Is this the same thing that you were trying to get us to with your first link?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks! That's very good info. I have very good bandwidth here, so speed was not an issue. What I really want to achieve is that the images should be acessable at a good resolution. So it's obvious that it doesn't work as intended, sorry! Your feedback is most helpful, now I know that things don't work as I hoped :-(. So I need to come up with something new! :-)

Bes regards
Erik

Hi,

Yes and no. It's not the same pictures and it's intended to be a better show. I obviously was to quick to mail about it as it seems to be slow. It's not a problem here where I live, so I'm most thankful for any feedback.

To my defence, I had a lot of testing, all locally and it worked just fine.

Best regards
Erik

I actually happened to unplug the power cord! I'll put it on my UPS. It should give it some minutes to live, but it won't help against stupidity!

Best regards

Erik,
This morning it worked without a hitch.

You gallery is gorgeous. The fall colors are magical. I like photo #8 very much. It's not that often that one can see the right shore in Oxbow Bend photos.

You crack me up! The IP looked suspicious to me in the first place! I viewed it yesterday after your post and had no problems. I like #5 and #9 best, but I miss a bit space to the top in both of them. And I expected a grizzly image after your first post

Hi,

The grizzly was in a different shoot. I'll put that one up too, soon.

Best regards
